Sammy Moniz

About

Sammy Moniz holds a significant place in the life of Mat Fraser, considered by many as a better half. The couple met while Sammy was serving on the CrossFit partnership team at the Reebok HQ. Their love story began in 2015, after Mat took second place for the second time at the CrossFit Games. Since then, their lives have been intertwined.

In 2016, following Mat's first gold medal victory, Sammy bid farewell to her job at Reebok. She embarked on a new journey working for Matt O'Keefe in Athlete Management. Her dual role involved providing support to Mat at home and developing partnerships with brands and other athletes in the CrossFit realm.

Sammy's creative juices found a new expression through cooking, a hobby she always cherished. It was not just an avenue for her to unwind, but it also served a significant purpose - feeding a hungry athlete. Her knack for ensuring that Mat ate more regularly reflected her love and commitment.

Feeding the Frasers' Journey

Feeding the Frasers, a recipe-studded page, emerged from her passion for learning, cooking, photography and brand building. It offers a sumptuous spread of dishes, be they 13-hour briskets, spatchcocked chickens, cheesecake bars or cinnamon rolls. All the culinary delights cater to the gastronomical adventures of the five-time CrossFit Games champion, Mat Fraser.

The recipe content is a manifestation of Mat and Sammy's shared belief in balance. They disregard fad diets and healthy versions of favourite desserts. In their belief, the requirements for healthy eating and performance-oriented eating may differ from person to person.

The most rewarding part of their food journey has been Sammy's opportunity to explore the culinary world, learn about new ingredients and innovative ways to serve the family. With its rich assortment of flavours, the Frasers' kitchen is a testament to Sammy's culinary prowess.
