Mr. Kennedy holds various prestigious roles including Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, Chief Prosecuting Attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper, and President of Waterkeeper Alliance. He is a Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at Pace University School of Law’s Environmental Litigation Clinic and a counselor at Morgan & Morgan, a national personal injury practice. Known to the wider public, he is the co-host of Ring of Fire on Air America Radio. Before reaching these lofty heights in his career, he served as Assistant District Attorney in New York City.

He notably aided several indigenous tribes in Latin America and Canada in negotiating treaties for the protection of their traditional homelands. Education
Mr. Kennedy graduated from Harvard University, studied at the London School of Economics, and received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. He furthered his studies at Pace University School of Law, earning a Masters Degree in Environmental Law.
Interests
A licensed master falconer, Mr. Kennedy cultivates a lifelong enthusiasm for white-water paddling whenever he can. He has organized and led several expeditions in Canada and Latin America, including first descents on three little-known rivers in Peru, Colombia, and Venezuela.
