Translated into 51 languages and accessible in 109 countries, the "Rich Dad" series has sold over 27 million copies across the world and remains a dominant force in multiple best-sellers lists.
In 2005, Kiyosaki was honored with an induction into the Amazon.com Hall of Fame as one of the Top 25 Authors. There are currently 26 books in the "Rich Dad" series. Robert Kiyosaki also pens a bi-weekly column 'Why the Rich Are Getting Richer' for Yahoo! Finance and a monthly column titled 'Rich Returns' for Entrepreneur magazine. His significant contribution to financial education extends beyond his books. Kiyosaki created the educational board game CASHFLOW 101, which teaches individuals the finance and investment strategies that allowed Robert to retire at the early age of 47.
Today, there are over 2,100 independent CASHFLOW Clubs worldwide. Kiyosaki, born and raised in Hawaii as a fourth-generation Japanese-American, began his career in the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam as an officer and helicopter gunship pilot.
After the war, Kiyosaki started working in sales for Xerox Corporation. In 1977, he founded a company that brought the first nylon and Velcro 'surfer wallets' to market. He then started an international education company in 1985, which taught business and investing to tens of thousands of students globally.
