Peter Franz Schweizer is an American political consultant and writer, recognized for his work as an investigative journalist. He is the president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI), which he founded in 2012. Schweizer has authored several bestselling books, including 'Blood Money: How the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye to China Killing Americans,' 'Red Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win,' and 'Profiles in Corruption.' His works have appeared on the New York Times bestseller list eight times and have been translated into eleven languages.

In addition to his writing, Schweizer has served as a consultant to the Office of Presidential Speechwriting under President George W. Bush and has been involved with the Ultraterrorism Study Group at the U.S. government’s Sandia National Laboratory. He is a frequent commentator on various media platforms and hosts GAI’s podcast, 'The Drill Down,' which focuses on exposing corruption in Washington. Schweizer holds an M.Phil. from Oxford University and a B.A. from George Washington University.
