Francesco Mattana is an Italian chef, author, and online sensation with a significant following across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. His culinary journey began in Sardinia, where he was influenced by local home cooks and the use of seasonal ingredients. After gaining experience in the kitchens of Sardinia, he moved to Australia, where he opened a well-regarded Italian restaurant in Brisbane called Ajó.
In 2018, Francesco relocated to the UK to focus on teaching, working at some of the top cookery schools in London. He eventually became the head teacher chef at Jamie Oliver's Cookery School. Currently, Francesco offers cooking classes and hosts events and demonstrations both in the UK and internationally, sharing his passion for authentic Italian and Sardinian cuisine. His first book, 'Eat Like a Sardinian,' showcases his culinary expertise.
