At Google, Jake conceived the design sprint, a process that has since become a cornerstone in modern software development. His expertise and knowledge in the field have led him to coach over 150 companies. Some notable teams that benefited from his coaching include those at Slack, Uber, the New York Times, and LEGO.

He currently resides in San Francisco with his wife and sons.
