Eric Ries is an American entrepreneur, blogger, and author best known for his influential book, The Lean Startup, which outlines a methodology for developing businesses and products. He co-founded IMVU, where he served as CTO, and has experienced both successes and failures in his entrepreneurial journey. His insights have made him a sought-after speaker at business events and a trusted advisor to startups, large corporations, and venture capital firms.

In addition to The Lean Startup, Ries authored The Startup Way, which focuses on modern entrepreneurial management practices. His work has been featured in prominent publications such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Harvard Business Review. Currently, he serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Harvard Business School and resides in San Francisco.
