Bob Schuchts is the bestselling author of several books, including 'Be Healed' and 'Be Transformed.' He is also the founder of the John Paul II Healing Center located in Tallahassee, Florida. Schuchts retired in December 2014 after a thirty-five-year career as a marriage and family therapist. He received his doctorate in family relations from Florida State University in 1981, which marked the beginning of his journey in teaching and counseling.
Throughout his career, Schuchts has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College. He has also served on the faculty at the Theology of the Body Institute and the Center for Biblical Studies, where he focused on topics such as healing, sexuality, and marriage. In addition to his professional work, Schuchts has volunteered in parish ministry for over thirty years. He resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Margie, and they have two daughters and eight grandchildren.
