Daniel Kahneman is an influential Israeli-American psychologist renowned for his work on judgment psychology, decision-making, and behavioral economics. Born in 1934, his influential theories challenge traditional assumptions of human rationality in economic theory. Kahneman's research, often in collaboration with Amos Tversky, established a cognitive understanding of human errors due to heuristics and biases. Kahneman received the 2002 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences and was recognized by Foreign Policy magazine as a top global thinker. The Pierre Charron Award recipient and professor emeritus at Princeton University also wrote bestselling book, "Thinking, Fast and Slow".

The James B. Duke Professor of Psychology & Behavioral Economics at Duke University, creator of the Center for Advanced Hindsight. Author of New York Times bestsellers Predictably Irrational, The Upside of Irrationality, The Honest Truth About Dishonesty, and others.
