Steven Furtick, known professionally as Larry Stevens Furtick Jr., is an American pastor, author, singer, and composer associated with Elevation Worship. He is the founder and lead pastor of Elevation Church, which is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Under his leadership, the church has expanded into a global ministry, utilizing online streaming and television to reach a wider audience.
Furtick is also a GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter and a New York Times best-selling author. He has written several books, including 'Crash the Chatterbox,' 'Greater,' 'Sun Stand Still,' and his latest work, 'Do The New You.' He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Theological Seminary. Steven lives in Charlotte with his wife, Holly, and their three children.
