Craig Groeschel is the founding and senior pastor of Life.Church, a multisite church based in the United States. He started Life.Church in a two-car garage in Edmond, Oklahoma, in January 1996. Under his leadership, the church has grown significantly while maintaining its mission to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Life.Church is recognized for its innovative use of technology, including launching the first fully digital church experience in 2006 and the YouVersion Bible app in 2008, which has become the most downloaded mobile Bible app in history.
In addition to his pastoral role, Groeschel is a New York Times best-selling author, having written books on various topics including church leadership, marriage, and personal development. He also hosts the Craig Groeschel Leadership Podcast, which aims to inspire and equip leaders across different sectors. Groeschel and his wife, Amy, married in 1991 and have six children. They continue to reside in the Edmond, Oklahoma area.
