Jess Higgins Kelley, MNT, ONC, is the Founder and Director of the Oncology Nutrition Institute, where she leads a 250-Hour Oncology Nutrition Consulting certification program. An internationally recognized journalist and nutrition therapist, she has made significant contributions to the field of oncology nutrition, including co-authoring the best-selling book 'The Metabolic Approach to Cancer: Integrating Deep Nutrition, the Ketogenic Diet, and Nontoxic Bio-Individualized Therapies.' This book has been translated into five languages and is utilized in clinics and hospitals worldwide.
Jess earned her undergraduate degree in journalism from Western Colorado University and has received accolades for her work, including the Alaska Press Club Award in 2000 for best breaking news coverage of the 911 attacks. She has worked as a staff writer for the Portland Press Herald and the Teton Valley News, and has contributed to various publications such as Breast Cancer Wellness and Natural Grocers. After graduating as a Master Nutrition Therapist from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in 2010, she specialized in oncology nutrition and has worked with numerous clients. Jess also has teaching experience at the Nutrition Therapy Institute, where she instructed courses related to clinical nutrition and food quality.
