Early Career

Anthony began his journey as a staff writer for Rolling Stone magazine. His first national cover story featured Eminem in 1999, marking his entry into limelight.

Publication Highlights

His first book, "Whatever You Say I Am: The Life and Times of Eminem" was published in 2003. This definitive story of the rapper's rise to fame achieved runaway success in the US and UK and was translated into fourteen different languages.

Having a flair for capturing the essence of musicians and their lives, Anthony co-authored bestsellers with renowned artists including Slash of Guns n' Roses, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, and comedian Artie Lange.

He went on to author the autobiographies of celebrated artists like Wyclef Jean, INXS, Tracy Morgan, and Mick Fleetwood. His commentary on the Australian rock band AC/DC, "Why AC/DC Matters", was a thorough exploration of their impact on the music industry. He continued to follow Eminem's journey through the years with his follow-up biography, "Not Afraid: The Evolution of Eminem".

Not limiting himself to writing biographies, Anthony also wrote and edited the best-selling book, "Jeter Unfiltered". This book presents an inside look into the final season of the famed Yankee captain.

Future Projects

Anthony's next co-write is titled "From Staircase to Stage: the Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan". The book, scheduled to be published in November 2021 by Gallery/Simon and Schuster, is a detailed narrative of the life story of the legendary Staten Island rapper and one of the most iconic rap groups of all time.

Other Endeavours

Anthony is also the host of WINYL, an interview-based podcast that pairs his guest's favorite record with the perfect wine. The podcast is available on various preferred platforms.
