Melissa Jean-Baptiste is a first-generation Haitian American dedicated to helping Millennials and Gen Z restructure their relationships with money, achieve financial freedom, and build generational wealth. As the eldest daughter of immigrant parents, she was determined to lead by example and pursue the American Dream. She graduated Cum Laude from Adelphi University with a BA in English Literature and an MA in Adolescent Education, and she spent 11 years as a high school English teacher in New York City, where she implemented modern curriculum shifts to enhance her students' personal growth.

In addition to her teaching career, Melissa created and produced the award-winning web series 'Millennial In Debt,' which addresses the challenges of adulthood stemming from inadequate financial education. Through her own journey of paying off $102,000 in student loan debt and purchasing her first home on a teacher's salary, she shares her financial mistakes and lessons to educate others. As a personal finance and career development coach, she aims to guide her audience toward becoming future millionaires, engaging over 300,000 followers across social platforms with fundamental financial lessons and crucial money conversations.
