John F. MacArthur serves as the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, California. He is also the Chancellor of The Master’s University and Seminary. MacArthur is widely recognized for his media ministry, Grace to You, which has allowed his teachings to reach a global audience. Over his 50-year ministry, he has preached through every verse of the New Testament and much of the Old Testament, and he is a sought-after speaker at conferences worldwide.
In addition to his pastoral work, MacArthur is an accomplished author, having written numerous best-selling books, including his New Testament commentary series and The MacArthur Study Bible. His works cover various aspects of Christian faith and practice, aiming to deepen understanding and application of biblical truths. He and his wife, Patricia, have been married for over sixty years and have four children, fifteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
