Education and Professional Achievements

Dr. Joe Dispenza, a New York Times bestselling author, researcher, and international lecturer, received his B.S. from Evergreen State College and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors from Life University. He also has postgraduate training and continuing education in neurology, neuroscience, brain function and chemistry, cellular biology, memory formation, aging, and longevity.

Dr. Dispenza is an invited member of Who's Who in America and an honorary member of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He has also received a Clinical Proficiency Citation for clinical excellence in doctor-patient relationships from Life University and is a member of Pi Tau Delta - the International Chiropractic Honor Society.

For the past decade, Dr. Dispenza has lectured in 32 different countries on six continents, educating people about the role and function of the human brain. His New York Times bestselling book, "You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter", shares numerous cases of individuals who reversed diseases by believing in a placebo. It combines research in neuroscience, biology, psychology, hypnosis, behavioral conditioning, and quantum physics to demystify the workings of the placebo effect.

In "Becoming Supernatural: How Common People are Doing the Uncommon", his fourth book, Dr. Dispenza presents revolutionary knowledge, test results, and "how-to" information enabling common people to achieve extraordinary states of being.
