Arianna Huffington is the co-founder, president, and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, and she has authored fifteen books. She launched The Huffington Post in May 2005, which quickly became one of the most widely-read and frequently-cited media brands on the Internet. The site won a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting in 2012, highlighting its impact on journalism and media.
Originally from Greece, Huffington moved to England at the age of 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an M.A. in economics. She became the president of the Cambridge Union debating society at 21. Huffington has been recognized as one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people and has appeared on Forbes' Most Powerful Women list. She serves on several boards, including The Center for Public Integrity and The Committee to Protect Journalists.
