Admiral William H. McRaven is a retired U.S. Navy Four-Star Admiral who served for thirty-seven years, commanding at every level within the Navy SEALs. His final role was as the Commander of all U.S. Special Operations Forces, where he was responsible for overseeing critical missions and operations. McRaven is also a #1 New York Times bestselling author, known for his books including 'Make Your Bed,' 'Sea Stories: My Life in Special Operations,' and 'The Hero Code: Lessons Learned from Lives Well Lived.'

After retiring from military service, McRaven took on the role of Chancellor of the University of Texas System from 2015 to 2018. He has continued to share his leadership insights and experiences through his writing and public speaking engagements. McRaven resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Georgeann.
